From the romantic ceremony to the stylish wedding reception and the all-important wedding breakfast, we have it all under one very impressive roof! Make your day one to remember, thanks to our personalised wedding planning services, provided by our dedicated wedding co-ordinators, who’ll help you out with all of those essential details. Best of all, you’ll have exclusive use of the entire castle and grounds (that’s right, all of it) on your big day. A dream wedding come true!
Say I Do
You’ve spent months planning your wedding and you’ve chosen exactly where to say “I Do”! Whether you choose to tie the knot in our opulent Oak Room with its original wood panelling, period fireplaces and elegant arched windows (offering a spectacular view of our 15-acre lake). Or take in the breath-taking Welsh countryside in a romantic outdoor ceremony under our gorgeous bandstand with the castle as your backdrop. The choice is yours!
Picture Perfect
Strike a pose! When it comes to post-ceremony wedding photography, at Hensol Castle, you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice for locations and backdrops. From our sweeping staircases and magnificent fireplaces to the majestic castle entrance or the pontoon of our beautiful lake, every picture will capture a moment to last a lifetime.
Time to Cheers
By now, your guests will be ready for a little treat, and they certainly won’t be disappointed! Serve them delicious drinks and canapés (all chosen by you, of course) while they mingle in one of the castle’s beautiful spaces – indoors or out. If the weather plays ball, there’s even the chance to fit in a quick game of croquet on our manicured front lawn!
Let's Dance
After the food, the toasts and the speeches, it’s time to take to the floor for your first dance as a married couple! As the evening progresses, let go and dance the night away in the company of your friends and family. Whether it’s live music, a fabulous local DJ, or even a little casino gaming, it’s time to lose yourself in the moment as the sun sets on your first day as a married couple!
And so to bed...
It’s been an event to remember! Finish the day among family and friends as you all head to one of our 23 new, beautiful, bespoke bedrooms. It’s a wonderful way to end your castle wedding experience – but it’s not over yet! Re-group in the morning over a delicious breakfast in our orangery. It has an amazing view of the castle courtyard, a perfect place to reflect on your big day!
